Bahria Town Karachi Give Family Festival For 20th to 23rd March 2015
A fun filled family event and concert is being organized by Bahria Town
Karachi from 20th March 2015 till 23rd March 2015 on its site at Super
Highway, Karachi. it's Festival Named as ‘Bahria Town Karachi Family Festival’, it is being held to showcase the development work of Bahria Town Karachi as well as to celebrate the spirit of Defense day.
Free for families, this will be featuring memorable performance by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Atif Aslam, Komal Rizvi and Ali Azmat who will be accompanied by local luminaries Saira Raza, Papu Saeen and RDB. Apart from the concert this will be loaded with many entertainment elements like kite flying, food stalls, kids play areas, fireworks, kids mela, pet show and much more to provide a complete family entertainment.

Jalaibee is an upcoming Pakistani caper action thriller film directed and written by Yasir Jaswal produced by Eman Syed. Jalaibee is a joint production of ARY Films & Redrum Films in association with Sermad Films and Jaswal Films. The film stars prominent TV actors Danish Taimoor and Ali Safina in lead roles along with Adnan Jaffar, Sajid Hasan, Uzair Jaswal (director's younger brother) Wiqar Ali Khan, Sabeeka Imam and Zhalay Sarhadi
It is the first Pakistani film to be shot with Arri Alexa camera. The film is shot in capital cities Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi. Jalaibee features Ford Mustang 73 in the film as well as its mascot. It is about the intertwined stories of numerous relatable characters who are all struggling with their problems, and who somehow connect on a unifying level.

KE TO POWER-UP BAHRIA TOWN
Recently Pakistan’s biggest residential colony developers, Bahria Town entered the Karachi Market with five mega projects which include Pakistan’s tallest building - Bahria Icon Tower (69 stories), the biggest residential colony- Bahria Town, which shall comprise of more than ten thousand acres of planned residential development, 24 storied Bahria Town Tower at Tariq Road, Houshang Pearl Tower (31 stories) and Opal 225, a 5-star hotel.
Bahria Town’s current planning of 5717 acres includes 30707 residential plots of 125 – 1000
yards, 10 Schools, 2 Hospitals & 14 Mosques on the Super Highway.
Bahria Town had initially planned for self-generation of power for these mega projects, but after formal discussions between Directorate of Distribution Strategy & Planning, K-Electric, Bahria Town Management
and their electrical consultants, an agreement was reached to provide power to these projects through KE. KE was issued an estimate for Bahria Town’s first project i.e. BT Tower on main Tariq road. Another estimate of PKR 62.1 Million against a token load of 3 MW for Bahria Town Super highway has also been issued.
Bahria Town’s Super Highway Project shall be the biggest single new connection application ever worked out by KE. The Utility Company will install big HT substations, LT network distribution expansion and a number of Grids - all of which shall be paid for by Bahria Town, and in return we shall receive a large number of new consumers. KE isworking on all five projects’ power supply in a way that eliminates all
possibility of power theft & loss, while providing them a composite solution for all their energy needs .
